Kaos v ameriškem Centru za nadzor bolezni (CDC) zaradi odpuščanja direktorice in spora glede politike cepljenja

V Združenih državah Amerike je prišlo do pretresa v vodstvu Centra za nadzor bolezni (CDC), saj je bila direktorica Susan Monarez odpuščena zaradi nestrinjanja glede politike cepljenja s sekretarjem za zdravje Robertom F. Kennedyjem mlajšim. Po poročanju naj bi Monarez nasprotovala spremembam, ki naj bi bile v nasprotju z znanstvenimi dokazi. Poleg njenega odhoda so bili s sedeža CDC pospremljeni še trije visoki uradniki, kar je povzročilo kaos in protestni odhod zaposlenih. Za vršilca dolžnosti direktorja je bil imenovan Jim O'Neill, namestnik sekretarja za zdravje.
